For appointments
Most participants in the Refugee Resettlement Program undergo a medical examination overseas before arriving in the U.S. Upon arrival, they are offered a complimentary health assessment within 90 days (or within 90 days of becoming eligible for services), which includes necessary vaccinations for immigration status adjustment.
These health services are managed by the Refugee Health Program at the Florida Department of Health in Seminole County (DOH-Seminole). Refugees diagnosed with health conditions are referred to primary care physicians and specialists for follow-up care.
Services are available at our Sanford Office. Please call 407-665-3700 to schedule an appointment.
