The Florida Department of Health in Seminole County monitors reportable diseases such as tuberculosis, sexually transmitted diseases, HIV/AIDS and Viral Hepatitis. Program staff members also investigate disease outbreaks in order to identify their source, intervene to protect others who may be at risk, and identify ways to prevent additional cases.
