You Can Save A Life – Prevent Overdose Carry Naloxone

Join Us! The Florida Department of Health in Seminole County in collaboration with Seminole County Government invites the public to attend the Revive Awareness Day Town Hall to learn more about how to spot the signs of an overdose, how to use naloxone to reverse the effects of an overdose, what resources and programs are available to support individuals with substance use disorder and a discussion on how to further combat the opioid epidemic.

WHAT IS NALOXONE?

Naloxone is a medication that rapidly reverses an opioid overdose by attaching to receptors in the brain and reversing and blocking the effects of the drug.
