Seminole County, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Seminole County (DOH-Seminole) is monitoring rabies among wild animals in the area. This is in response to a single confirmed case of rabies in a bat that was captured in the area near 4200 Dike Road in Winter Park in Seminole County on October 23, 2025. All residents and visitors should be aware that rabies may be currently present in the wild animal population.
