Office Closure

In honor of our nation’s first president and founding father, George Washington, the state of Florida will be declaring an official state holiday on Monday, February 16, 2026. State offices will be closed, and Floridians are encouraged to get out and celebrate our state’s history and American heritage.

Sanford, Fla. — All Florida Department of Health offices in Seminole County (DOH-Seminole) will be closed on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, through Friday, November 28, 2025, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Sanford, Fla. — All Florida Department of Health offices in Seminole County (DOH-Seminole) will close on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, in honor of Veterans Day.

Seminole County, Fla. — All Florida Department of Health in Seminole County (DOH- Seminole) offices will be closed on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at noon in response to severe weather impacts. Offices will remain closed until further notice.

Sanford, Fla. — All Florida Department of Health in Seminole County (DOH-Seminole) offices will reopen with regular operation hours on Friday, September 27, 2024.

Sanford, Fla. — All Florida Department of Health in Seminole County (DOH-Seminole) offices will close on Monday, September 2, 2024, in observance of Labor Day.
