If international travel is in your future, contact us as soon as possible to determine if there are any immunization requirements for your intended destination. Some immunizations, toxoids, or prophylaxis treatments may take several months to complete, so it’s essential to start early.

Travelers may need additional immunizations or treatments depending on their destination. To reduce the risk of infection while abroad:

Many immunizations against diseases like diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, measles, mumps, rubella, poliomyelitis, and Haemophilus influenzae type b are routinely administered in childhood in the United States. However, if you or your child have not received adequate protection against these diseases, it’s important to obtain the appropriate immunizations, whether or not you plan to travel. Immunizations are key to staying safe.

Due to limited availability, please call ahead if you require immunizations for yellow fever or Japanese encephalitis.
